         <description>Last year Jake Morse finished 2nd in the Indoor NCAA Championships in the mile (4:00) and then finished 4th at the Olympic Trials in the steeplechase.  With some big expectations for his last cross season, Jake was hit with some injury problems that set him back.  After a disappointing showing at the Big 12 meet, Jake bounced back to finish 5th in the South Central Region and punch his ticket to nationals.
