I had already had my post-season break, so it would have been a surprise to run fast at Fifth Avenue. But I gave it a shot. The most important thing to me was to help promote the race. The Big 12 Indoor Championships are next for the Missouri Tiger Track and Field squads. Twenty-six men and 26 women will forge to Lincoln, Neb., for the two-day meet that begins Friday morning. The Tigers will have four individual and relay championships to defend against some of the best talent in the nation.

The NCAA Division I Track & Field committee announced Wednesday that the University of Missouri has been selected to host the 2007 NCAA Mideast Regional Championships to be held at Audrey J. Walton Track Stadium in Columbia on May 25-26, 2007.
