Pelham, New Hampshire twins Casey and Patrick Moulton, 24, both became 2:15 marathoners at the Freescale Austin Marathon on February 19 in Texas. Casey ran 2:15:26 for sixth place and Patrick was eighth in 2:15:35. Casey had clocked a 2:20:19 for 17th place at the LaSalle Bank Chicago Marathon in October; Patrick was completing his first marathon after a DNF at Twin Cities.

Granite is the traditional rock in New Hampshire. It gave New Hampshire its nickname of “The Granite State.” New Hampshire once had a large industry surrounding the quarrying of granite.
